Commission Information

In addition to drawings, I also do photo, video, sewing, prop, AND translating commissions as well. So let me take a few moments to go over my rules and regulations, as well as examples for each. I'm going to start by explaining my payment methods, which will be the same for all commissions.

In other news...

Since it's been a while, I thought I'd try to recap my winter break...

To being with, my fall semester was crazy. I had an atrocious schedule and was so busy I just wanted to have breaks all the time. ;A; And in addition to school stuff, I tried had to work on my Norse mythos project.

Welp, I ended up with two As, two Bs and a C (this was pretty much expected), and ended the semester. I went back to one card every week (instead of bi-weekly) and managed to, over the course of the break finish them! C:

Here are the ones you may have missed:

I had so many people ask me about buying the deck that I've decided to produce about 30 sets and sell them for about $12. This is going to happen in late-January. c:

In addition to that, my bro and I found this super neat place near our house. It's an endless field with small hills and such; really cool! On one of the early cool days we went there and took a bunch Melty Blood pictures. Many of them are suppose to be actual game-play reminiscent but a few I edited to have features from the actual game.

Here are those!

My break was, for the most part, uneventful. I saw Sherlock Holmes 2 which was FREAKIN' AWESOME. If you haven't seen it yet or you weren't sure about it, I highly recommended going and seeing it. It was great.

I had a sleepover with Mel and Kirky the day after Christmas with my brother. We saw all of the Avenger-related movies (except for The Incredible Hulk because my bro and I were the only ones who wanted to see it). Later, after we got back, we did end up seeing it so I'm super pumped for May 4th! 8DDD

Recently, I've been watching my brother play Suikoden IV and Suikoden Rhapsodia (AKA Tactics in the US). If we have the opportunity, we're gonna start to replay V, move on to I, Gaiden I, and so forth until we get to III (obviously basing our play by the timeline, not game number). I've only been familiar with V and a bit of III, so it's interesting to see the others.

In other news, school does start on Monday for the both of us. We have opposite schedules, it seems. I'm on south MWF, while he's on north and TuTh, I'm on north while he's on south. Additionally, MWF I have to be there early and MW stay late, while my brother stays late Tu. This semester I have a mixture of interesting classes and one or two boring classes, like Contemporary International Problems or Economics in Asia. Blah. On the other hand, I'm taking Japanese 6 and a few of my classmates got our new book and they say it's great! 8DDD

Saturday I'll be doing some back-to-school prep stuff but Sunday I'm going to Morikami for the New Year's festival. My brother and I are going to dress up as Shiki and Kouma to take a few pictures that should round out our showcase of them a little more nicely. c:

Here's hoping this semester doesn't kill me! XD;;;

Yeah! Halfway!!

Yo guys!

The biggest, most exciting thing is that I just reached the halfway point in my Norse Mythology tarot card project! Awwwwww-yuuuuuh. XDDD

Here are the other two cards:

I've been watching Doctor Who pretty regularly with my dad and bro but now that the new TV season has started we have less time to watch it. ;A; I have mixed feelings~~~ >A<

But we're finally on the 11th Doctor! 8DD

Also, last weekend, I got to see nearly all of Firefly. It's a really neat show! Tomorrow, I'm going to finish it and watch the movie~

And then I'm also keeping up with Fairy Tail but I'm having such a hard time with other series. *sobbu* I just have no time.

But I try real hard to keep up with FT because I'm getting ready to start Erza and Natsu. 8DDD My bro's Natsu wig came in yesterday and it is so lovely~~ I had school today so I didn't get to take a shot of it, but it's awesome! I can't wait for my Erza wig~~ (It's gonna be at least another week. ;w;)

But yeah! More later; I'm sorry, gotta go. >A<

[Con Report] MizuCon 2011

Aug. 19–21

As the Director of Events for MizuCon, my convention started Thursday evening! I packed all my stuff up the day before and left the house at about 2:30PM. We got to the hotel/venue roughly an hour later.

We went through each of the rooms to make sure they were suitable for each assigned room. I had to make a few changes to the layout as some of the rooms/original layout just didn't work. (So for those of you on the FB fan page, sorry! You can blame me for the last-minute room changes!)

We did a little more set up, and I met up with most of my staffers to pass along some info they needed to know.

At about 9PM, I left to go stay with my friends, Kirky and Mel, who lived only a handful of minutes away. We ate some grub and chatted and watched silly videos and just had a silly night. XD;;;

Alright. So that's my scoop of things. I really can't judge this year's con. There are many things I'm aware of that happened before the con even got close, and they make me really biased. XD;;;

I think my staffers did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of things and I know numerous staffers who worked above and beyond what they were suppose to do. I am proud of this year. I really am. And that's saying something because last year, I had fun (I didn't much feel like a staffer!), but this year I worked my butt off and I feel really good about that.

Next year, I am to be given even more duties that give me even more responsibilities. I hope to still be able to do my 101 panels and I'm already contemplating a Fairy Tail panel (something like a guild recruitment panel, or whatnot), but we'll see!

I also was the one to design and produce the contest certificates (and coupons) and next year, I intend to make even better ones! Along with the additional category, I'd like to add some fun and silly awards as well. c:

I sincerely hope everyone had a pleasant time and I hope that I, along with the amazing staffers we have, can make it even more amazing. Please, if you have any comments, suggestions, complaints, please leave them here in a comment! I really want feedback so that we can take what the fans want and make it into a reality.

So that's that!

Your result for The Sorting Hat: A Comprehensive Harry Potter Personality Assessment [Test/Quiz]...

63% Ravenclaw, 60% Hufflepuff, 41% Slytherin and 36% Gryffindor!

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

if you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind;

The cardinal traits of Ravenclaw are intellect, wit and openness to experience. They are the most introverted house of the four. Ravenclaws are more likely to prefer small gatherings of like-minded individuals and require recooperation after stressful social interaction. These individuals are intuitive creatures, the quintessential researchers. They lack the stubborn, strict, and rule-abiding qualities that would inhibit intellectual growth—one can't be too set in their ways if they are to be open to exploring new ideas and paths of thought.In contrast to Slytherin and Gryffindor, Ravenclaws in general are much more emotionally stable. Their reactions seem dampened compared to the sometimes dramatic responses of the other houses—they're much less likely to get offended, they're more open to criticism, not particularly argumentative and interested in hearing different points of view. They can at times seem to be less interested in people and more interested in their own inner world, and appear to be disconnected from the rest of humanity.

Ambition is secondary to them. Although they may strive to excel in school, knowledge and self-enrichment is the primary goal as opposed to simply wanting good marks. If they do happen to strive for excellence, it is because it fits with their other goals, not out of a desire to be superior or the best. Due to their intuitiveness and willingness to listen, Ravenclaws can be empathetic and make good advisors. They should generally leave leadership roles to people who are more extraverted and who would enjoy them more, however.

Not surprised~

You know, I always thought of myself as extroverted, and perhaps I was when I was younger, but nowadays I suppose I am more introverted. Hmm... oh well. XDD

I really like the way this quiz described Ravenclaw (and Gryffindor as I saw this on ginnyseta's journal. I'm collecting them to use them later for my project. Muwahahahaha~~ XDDDD
